Jackson Little League Will Hold Its Monthly General Meeting on Tuesday, February 14, 2011 At 8:00 P.M. At The Jackson Knights Of Columbus On Bartley Road. Attendance At One General Meeting Per Year (From September To August) In Order To Satisfy The Work Bond Requirement. Hope To See You There.

Player Evaluations, Opening Day, Field Use And Maintenance, Updates On Rules In Certain Divisions, All Star Selection Process/tryouts And New Travel Team Requirements/guidelines.

The Final Registration For The Spring 2011 Season Is Tuesday, Feb. 7 From 6PM- 9PM At The Jackson Senior Center On Don Connor Blvd. All Fees Are The Same As 2011.forms And Guidelines Are Available At Www.jacksonlittleleague.com And Board Members Will Be On Hand To Offer Assistance And Answer Questions. All Families Should Bring Three Separate Checks For Registration ($150 For All Except T-ball $125), Work Bond($100) And Baseball Mania($40). You Are Strongly Urged To Fill Out All Forms And Checks So We Can Get You In And Out Quickly. Sponsors Are Welcome To Attend And Submit Their Checks As Well.

*note: Jll Is Mindful Of The Financial Strain That Many Families Are Presently Experiencing And Would Never Want To See A Child Not Play Baseball Because Of The Cost. Mark Your Calendars: For The Minor And Major Divisions, Mandatory Player Evaluations Will Be Held On Saturday, February 25 In The Elms Elementary School Gym Starting At Approximately 9:00 A.M. Prior To This Date, You Will Be Notified Of The Specific Time That Each Age Group Should Attend. Players Should Come In Sneakers And Bring Their Own Glove, Bat And Batting Helmet. The Purpose Of The Evaluations Is To Give The Managers Insight Into The Abilities Of Players Before Drafting Their Teams. Any Players Who Do Not Attend Will Be Placed On Teams Randomly Within Their Division. 10 Year Olds Who Wish To "Play Up" And Tryout For The Major Division Must Attend The Evaluations.

General Meetings

The league has a General Membership meeting the second Tuesday of every month at 8:00 PM at the Knights of Columbus on Bartley Road. This meeting is an opportunity to hear the state of the league as well as an opportunity to voice any issues directly to the league.
