Our Programs

The Jackson Little League offers several program options for boys and girls starting at age 4.  Please use the Little League Age Calculator to determine your players baseball age:   Little League Age Calculator

Tee Ball Division (Ages 4, 5 and 6)
JLL offers a program for Tee Ball players that is specifically designed to provide a foundation and introduction to baseball that is grounded in fun, fitness, and fundamentals.

The Tee Ball program features structured learning, highlighted by practices and games each week. Over the course of the season, players will learn how to hit a ball off a batting tee, run the bases and learn what the positions on the field are called.  This is a non-competitive league where scores are not kept.  Further Tee Ball Information from Little League International.  Click Here to Register

Pitching Machine Division (Ages 6 and 7)
JLL offers a program for players ages 6 and 7 utilizing a pitching machine operated by coaches to enhance the players experience.  Teams will practice weekly and play games while continuing to learn the basics of baseball.  A machine is set near the pitching mound and the batter will have the opportunity to hit off the machine with speeds that vary from 31-36 miles per hour.  This is a non-competitive league where scores are not kept.  Click Here to Register

AA Minors Division (Ages 7 and 8)

Minors Division (Ages 9 and 10)
The Minors Division is for Little League age 9 and 10 year olds and is played on the 46/60 baseball field (46 foot pitcher’s mound / 60 foot base paths). This division is a competitive league with scores, pitch counts, and wins/losses being tallied. The season is approximately 14‐16 games plus a single elimination playoff round. Players are selected by managers at a draft after player evaluations that are held prior to team announcement. Roster size is typically 11‐13 players. Depending on division enrollment, 8 year olds may be eligible for play to round out rosters at the discretion of the player agent. If interested in your Little League 8 year old playing in the Minors division, they MUST ATTEND the evaluations date announced by Jackson Little League prior to team draft selections. There is no guarantee that an 8 year old that tries up during evaluations will be selected by a manager, or that any will be taken depending on roster enrollments. Once season play begins, interested 8 year olds may sign up wit the player agent for guest play opportunities in the Minors division. Also, siblings that try up a division are not guaranteed to be on the same team as another sibling that is age appropriate for the division. Siblings that are either Little League age 9 or 10 are guaranteed to be on the same team.   Click Here to Register

Majors Division (Ages 11 and 12)
The Majors Division is for Little League age 11 and 12 year olds and is played on the 46/60 baseball field (46 foot pitcher’s mound / 60 foot base paths). This division is a competitive league with scores, pitch counts, and wins/losses being tallied. The season is approximately 14‐16 games plus a single elimination playoff round. 50/70 Division (Ages 11, 12 and 13)
The Intermediate (50/70) Baseball Division was introduced in January, 2010, which utilizes a 50-foot pitching distance and 70-foot base paths. The division, which was new division of Little League Baseball in 2013 for players league-age 11-13 with postseason tournament opportunities, including a World Series, offers a transition for players between the standard Little League field size (46-foot pitching distance and 60-foot base paths) and the Junior/Senior field size (60-foot, 6-inch pitching distance and 90-foot base paths). Juniors Division (Ages 13 and 14)
The Junior League Baseball Division is a program for boys and girls ages 13-14, using a conventional 90-foot diamond with a pitching distance of 60 feet, 6 inches. This is a competitive division where scores and standings are kept.  Click Here to Register


Seniors Division (Ages 14, 15 and 16)
The Senior League Baseball Division is for boys and girls 14-16 years old, using a conventional 90-foot diamond with a pitching distance of 60 feet, 6 inches.This is a competitive division where scores and standings are kept.  Click Here to Register
